Dr. Richards is a west valley psychologist providing clinical and forensic evaluation services. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa prior to earning both her master’s and doctoral degrees from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. During her graduate studies, Dr. Richards gained experience in psychological evaluations as well as therapeutic and crisis interventions. She trained in inpatient and outpatient community mental health, health psychology, and neuropsychology settings. Since obtaining licensure in July 2015, Dr. Richards has worked in forensic group, correctional, and independent practice settings. She is currently contracted to perform forensic psychological services as a mental health expert for the Maricopa County Superior Court. Additionally, she is a unit consultant for the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS).
